NAVRATRI ๐Ÿ™

The worship of the Divine Mother, Aadi Parashakti, unfolds during the sacred Navaratri, revering her in her three sublime facets: Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. According to the profound wisdom of Shrimad Devi Bhagawatam, the Ashwina Navaratri is a dedicated homage to Mother Goddess Chandika, the quintessence of transcendental universal consciousness. She, indeed, is the embodiment of Bramhavidya, the very soul of cosmic knowledge.

In her manifold manifestations, Chandi embodies all three of these divine aspects. As Durga, she bestows the gift of life, assuming the role of protector and bestower of health, vitality, and fortitude upon all creation. In her guise as Lakshmi, she nurtures the cosmos, weaving the tapestry of material existence and binding souls with the enchantment of Maya. Within this realm, she sustains the awareness of beings residing within physical vessels. As Lakshmi, the Devi graciously imparts worldly wisdom, igniting the flames of innovation and enlightenment.

Upon the culmination of creation and sustenance, she transforms into Saraswati, the bestower of profound wisdom, guiding souls on their path to Atma Bodha—self-realization and unity with the divine. The worship of Chandika Parmeshwari is an embodiment of Bhoga-Moksha pradayini, offering her devotees a perfect itinerary to experience both material and spiritual abundance. Though she wears a fierce countenance, she is the ultimate liberator of her beloved devotees. In the presence of sincere devotion, prayers to her remain eternally answered.

The sacred scriptures, notably Shrimad Devi Bhagawatam, elucidate that a devotee who wholeheartedly surrenders at the feet of Ma Chandika, singing her praises with utmost devotion, becomes cherished by her divine grace. In return, she imparts knowledge and fulfillment, nurturing the aspiration for moksham—the ultimate liberation of the soul.
